Winter Wedding Décor

The winter season might not be here, but now’s the perfect time to think about your approaching winter wedding. What I love about weddings during the winter season is that they not only add to the already festive ambiance of the season but that there are several different ways I’ve seen “Winter Wedding Décor” approached.

Thanks to Pinterest, getting inspiration for a winter wedding is easier than ever. So I’ve compiled a few of my favorite winter themes: Frosted, Warm and Rustic Winter Wedding Décor.

Frosted: For this type of theme, think glittery and bright! Not cold and blue-ish. Use all white florals and linens with touches of silver. Make sure to bring in the sparkle with centerpieces of white branches dripping in diamonds. Or line the entire aisle of your ceremony with them! Mercury glass vases filled with candles would bring a soft glow to the entire reception.

Cinnamon sticks can beautifully accent your candles.

Warm: With this theme, I think you should keep the same base pallet of white but then really go for the gold and amber tones that will make everything seem really cozy and inviting.

Rustic: And no, I’m not talking burlap and mason jars. Think birchwood or cinnamon stick candles, cranberry centerpieces, or pine and lambs ear accents in your florals. This can truly be show-stopping.

Winter truly is a wonderful time in Albuquerque and here at Hotel Albuquerque. And now, you can save 25% on the cost of ceremony rental fees, on your food and beverage minimum cost and on your food menu on your winter Sunday wedding in 2014.

This special Sunday offer is extended to new bookings of 75 guests or more and is based on availability. And it can save the savvy couple hundreds or even thousands of dollars without compromising the venue, food or service!

Now, there’s even more to love about winter weddings at Hotel Albuquerque!
